Hi,
The yard and garden have been taking all our spare time this year so far.
Mom got some deck
funiture so we thought we'd take a couple of pictures. She also planted some interesting trees and shrubbery in front on the left by the gate. Thanks to John and Carrie for the beautiful bird bath (Mothers Day present) in the front flower bed. Kind of cold for this Sunday p.m.- 57 degrees and windy.

Moms been busy in front too. I could see no use for a tree shaped like a corkscrew!

We also made a trip to Manhatten last weekend with David and Denay, for Chuck Morris's funeral. Nice to see so many friends from the past. That was the silver lining for me for the sad event of Chucks passing. It reminded me that our spiritual family includes the past, present and future. Even though we haven't seen our brothers and sisters for thirty years or more, we can walk up and visit like we saw them yesterday.
We'll be taking off next week to help get Grandma Quigley out to Idaho, to live in John and Carols guest house. Maybe we'll get some shots on the next update. see you!
